Pulev suffered injury ahead of fight against Anthony Joshua

It has been reported that ahead of IBF/WBA/IBO heavyweight title challenge against Anthony Joshua (19-0, 19 KOs), Kubrat Pulev (25-1, 13 KOs), former European Heavyweight champion and one-time world title challenger has suffered a thoracic muscle rupture. Such injury may take a month to recover. The bout expected  in 2 weeks time on  October 28, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff was due to be aired on Sky Box Office in the UK and showtime in America. 


Apparently Pulev was injured about a week ago but was kept a secret with a hope that he would recover in time for the match. Apparently Pulev will be getting $5 million and Joshua will be getting $20 million.Huge crowd of about 80,000 fan was expected for this match.


The IBF mandatory  is expected to be scheduled in November or December.
